so much loving

Today walking to school I saw a girl sitting on the newly built concret wall with her hands over her nose and crouching down and I thought she looked rather odd and as I got closer I realised that she was vomitting. Meanwhile, everyone who was walking to school just passed by her casually as if nothing was wrong. I was walking with my sister and stopped next to her and asked if she was sick and she said yes so I gave her a couple of tissues and bought her to the office even though she looked quite unappealing from the vomit.

To be honest, todays event made me wonder why so many people act in this way. If you were this person, you'd desperately want someone to recognise that you need help and give you some comfort but no-one bothered at all, even some boys in year ten were all going "Hey look at her" as if she was some amusing movie. It disappoints me that so many people act so selfishly these days because it's not like my expectations are hard to meet. All I ask for is a little sympathy and care for someone who's in need even though you don't know them. Sure you may describe your friends as "caring" but the definition of caring does not only mean that when you're in trouble your friend is there for you, it also means to lend a helping hand to SOMEONE in need and not necessarily your friend but I guess some people's definition of "care" only extend to their closest "bumchum".
